Our standards for accurate, transparent and useful directory content.
Sources and verification
Official extension stores, developer documentation and privacy policies are the preferred sources. Existing directory records may be historical; we identify archived fields and missing verification instead of presenting them as current facts.
Ratings and recommendations
We do not fabricate reviews, ratings, active-user totals, test results or security claims. Category collections organise discovery; they do not establish a ranking or imply hands-on testing. Any future tested review must describe its method, limitations and date.
Corrections and submissions
Submissions are saved for human review and never automatically published. We consider factual corrections and broken-link reports through our contact page.
Commercial independence
Any paid placement, sponsorship or affiliate link must be clearly identified. Compensation must not be presented as a verified quality or safety badge.
Third-party independence
EdgeAddons is not affiliated with Microsoft, Google, Mozilla or listed developers. Product names belong to their respective owners.
